Private Christian school says it can expel you if you have a gay family member

By Fabio Crispim

Christian high school, Trinity Academy, in Wichita Kansas has informed parents they have a right to expel students if they have a gay family member, Gay Star News reports.

Before anyone can be admitted to the private high school, parents must sign a form that asks students to agree to not have sex before marriage or to drink alcohol.

The form reads, “Sex is a gift from God intended only for a man and a woman within sacred bounds of marriage. Sexual activity outside the bounds of marriage, according to Scripture, is sinful.”

Statement-of-Understanding

The form continues, stating that “when the atmosphere or conduct within a particular home is counter to the school’s understanding of a biblical lifestyle, including the practice or promotion of the LGBT lifestyle or alternative gender identity, the school should have the right, in its sole discretion, to deny the admission of an applicant or discontinue enrolment of a current student.”

Well, that’s a first.
