Mother of Pulse victim stars in emotional campaign video for Hillary Clinton – WATCH

By Fabio Crispim

The mother of a Pulse nightclub victim has come forward to voice her support for Hillary Clinton in a powerful new ad by the Human Rights Campaign, LGBTQ Nation reports.

Christine Leinonen is the mother of Christopher Leinonen who was killed with his boyfriend Juan Ramon Guerrero and 47 other people at the June 2016 shooting at Pulse, Orlando.

In the video, Leinonen speaks out against Republican candidate Donald Trump’s and urges viewers to vote for Clinton.

“This is definitely a mother’s worse nightmare, something that you would never have even imagined. Christopher and Juan’s love was like Romeo and Juliet. Unfortunately, they died together,” she says in the video.

She then reveals that her son was a Hillary supporter.

“He had the kind of personality that brought people together, all people. And that’s why he supported Hillary Clinton.”

“He was impressed with her as a leader,” Leinonen adds. “She wants to bring everybody to the table. We have to continue moving forward as an inclusive society.”

“If you love a gay person, if you know someone who is gay and you really truly love them, I don’t know how you could justify a vote for Donald Trump.”

Leinonen has previously spoken out against gun violence at the Democratic National Convention last summer.

The Pulse shooting was the worst mass shooting in recent US history.
