Michael Sam engaged to boyfriend Vito Cammisano?

NFL star Michael Sam has reportedly got engaged to his boyfriend Vito Cammisano.

The couple apparently got engaged in Rome earlier this week after enjoying a romantic trip around Europe since December 30, a source told Page Six.

While the new has yet to be formally announced, a friend of the couple has congratulated the pair on social media.

The 25-year-old – who became the first openly gay NFL star when he was signed to the St Louis Rams last year, before later being dropped by the club – met Cammisano at the University of Missouri, and later credited this partner for his decision to come out publicly.
