Castor Kwak told police that he attacked the couple because they were gay

A man was stabbed with a broken glass bottle in an alleged homophobic attack.

Castor Kwak, 33, is currently facing a hate crime charge after he allegedly starting yelling homophobic slurs at a gay couple while they walked passed him outside the Seattle Police Department.

According to Fox 13, the couple kept walking away but Kwak persisted and spat in the face of one of the men before the fight where he reportedly stabbed one of the victims with a broken glass bottle.

Police broke up the fight and found of the victims with cuts to his face and body. Kwak told officers he attacked the couple because they were gay.

He has been charged with one count of malicious harassment and is being held in jail on a $50,000 bail.
