Lady Gaga spends the day with homeless LGBT youth in London

By Josh Lee

Lady Gaga took a break from her promotional commitments to visit homeless LGBT young people at homelessness charity the Albert Kennedy Trust.

According to reports, the singer spent around four hours with the Albert Kennedy Trust yesterday (December 7). She gave the young people gifts, and spoke with charity workers and service users alike.

The 30-year-old then recorded a Christmas message with some of the young people who use the charity’s services. It was then shared on Instagram yesterday (December 12) with the caption “#NoRoomForHate”.

In a separate post, she called on fans to help support vulnerable young queer people through the Albert Kennedy Trust and Born This Way Foundation.

“In 77% of the these cases Parent rejection and abuse are the primary cause for the kids being homeless and believe it’s linked to them coming out,” she wrote.

“So help out @albertkennedytrust and the @btwfoundation to raise awareness to these locations and donate money to help these incredible youth survivors transition into their adulthood with dignity and promise.”

The visit comes just two weeks after the singer spent Thanksgiving weekend with vulnerable LGBT youth in New York, where she revealed that she lives with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after being raped as a teenager,
