Kristin Davis on ‘Sex and the City 3’: ‘It’s up to the fans’
By Josh Haggis
Kristin Davis has spoken out about reports that a third Sex and the City movie is in the works.
After recent reports suggested a third film was in the making, Kristin spoke about the rumour during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show.
“If the fans weren’t interested I don’t think it would ever happen. It was a struggle to get both the first movie and the second movie made, partly because we’re a franchise starring four women over 40 and that just frankly doesn’t happen.
“It’s only from our fan support that anything ever happened ever in the film region. I think the third if it does happen is because people talk about us, we’re still on the air, there is the fan support and so it means a lot to us,” she added.
Though both Sex and the City movies were disliked by critics, both films were met with substantial commercial success.
