Jonathan Van Ness hits back at the Trump-Pence administration in a sexual health campaign.

Earlier this month, Queer Eye’s style expert revealed he is HIV-positive and has now joined the Planned Parenthood – the sexual healthcare provider at the centre of a legal battle with the Trump administration.

While posting on Instagram, the hairstylist – who came out as non-binary earlier this year but still uses the he/him pronouns – details how Planned Parenthood provided more than 4.7 million tests and treatments for STDs, including 740,000 HIV tests, last year alone.

And during the video, Jonathan hit back at the Trump-Pence administration who are making it harder for people to access free or low-cost STI testing.

He said: “The Trump-Pence administration is making it even harder for people to access free or low-cost STD testing and treatment by forcing Planned Parenthood out of the Title X program.”

The X program is a 50-year-old federal program which is used by four million people for affordable sexual healthcare including STI testing, birth control and cancer screenings.
