Jane Fonda says we cannot solve climate change with Donald Trump as President.

The Grace and Frankie star has been a vocal supporter of the current climate change protests around the world and has been arrested four times throughout October.

And now, while speaking to Don Lemon on CNN, the actress said the current climate change issues will not be solved when there is an ‘oil president’ in office.

She said: “I don’t want to get arrested, but I’m willing to risk getting arrested by engaging in civil disobedience.

“He [Trump] is an oil president. His cabinet is an oil cabinet.

“He is bought off by fossil fuels. And a lot of people in the Senate, a lot of Republican candidates are, too.

“We’re not going to solve the problems when we have elected officials who are paid by the fossil fuel industry.

“I’m almost 82, I’ve gotta do whatever I can. Once you know something, you have to use whatever power you have.”

Currently the Trump administration has rolled back environmental protections and it was reported that oil industry leaders at a private event earlier this year laughed about how easy it has become to influence the administration.
