By Attitude Magazine

Singers Ronan Parke and Heather Peace and the acclaimed Delta Band will headline the Peter Tatchell Foundation’s inaugural Equality Ball on Saturday November 28 at The Old Town Hall in Stratford. The theme is ‘Baubles & Bling’: dress to impress.

Teen sensation Parke was runner up in Britain’s Got Talent and will perform Stand Up For Love by Destiny’s Child. Actress Peace, best known for roles in Lip Service and Waterloo Road, is also a critically-acclaimed singer with two studio albums under her belt.

Both Ronan and Heather Peace will be attending the whole event, including dinner.

Delta Band – who have worked with Olly Murs, Bryan Ferry and Girls Aloud – will lead the late night dancing with cover versions of pop classics.

The honoured guest on the night is Sir Ian McKellen. Marc Almond will be joining the for dinner – “and hopefully a song or two,” say organisers.

“Heather Peace and Ronan Parke are amazing singers. I’m grateful they’ve agreed to generously donate their talent to make The Equality Ball a night to remember. It’s going to be a fabulous evening. For one night only, I’m going glam – all in the cause of fundraising for human rights,” said Tatchell.

Tickets are £50 per person, which includes a welcome drink and buffet dinner. Tables of 10 can be booked for £450.

All proceeds from the Equality Ball will fund the human rights work of the Peter Tatchell Foundation, which includes a mixture of LGBTI and broader human rights initiatives, both in the UK and internationally.
