Gus Kenworthy revealed his puppy’s siblings have been adopted by his two best friends.

The openly gay Olympic skier came to media attention after rescuing his puppy, Beemo, from a dog meat farm while he was competing in the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.

Now, Kenworthy revealed in a heartwarming Instagram post that Beemo’s biological brother and sister have also been adopted by his best friend and his cousin.

On the post he wrote: “Family that stays together, plays together! So happy that @beemopup’s biological brother, Kubo (who was also one of the 90 pups rescued from the dog meat farm I visited in S. Korea) was adopted by two of my best friends in the world and that he’s going to grow up down the street from her!!

“Congrats on the addition to your family @bobby_brown1 & @nicolegallen! 🐻

“For those wondering about the rest of the litter Beemo and Kubo’s other sister was adopted by my cousin Will and then their brother Kona is living in Toronto (@konatherescue_)!

“I can’t thank @hsiglobal enough for getting these fur balls back to the US safe and sound!!! #AdoptDontShop [sic]”

Last week, Kenworthy caused a stir when he kissed fellow Olympian Adam Rippon on the stage of the GLAAD Awards.
