A gay teen has shared a video of a Christian woman performing an improvised exorcism on her from her bedroom door.
Selia Brookes posted the harrowing footage on TikTok last week, where it has since amassed 665k views.
The teen, who commonly shares content with her girlfriend, posted the video along with the caption: “If you’re wondering what religious abuse is, here.”
“Foul spirits”
In the video, Brookes – who identifies as “gay gay gay” on her profile and whose pronouns are she/her – is seen standing in her bedroom with the door ajar, while her abuser denounces “foul spirits” and “lying spirits.”
She continues: “Satan, I rebuke you, in the name of Jesus, in the name above all names! Praise you, Jesus!'”

Brookes is then seen turning to the person – presumably her girlfriend – who is filming the video as she breaks down in tears.
In her TokTok post, she added the captions: “#abuse #religion #fyp #emancipation #lgbtq #foryou.”
In another video, the woman is heard calling Brookes’ girlfriend a “blood-sucking leech”.
According to the MailOnline, Brookes included a caption alleging “this is how my grandmother talks to my girlfriend,” although this is not currently displayed.
One online commentator said: “The first comment on their TT says: ‘There’s no hate like Christian love.’ I’ve never heard that before but I totally agree. Hope they are able to get out of there soon and that woman gets some therapy.”
