Hong Kong police are investigating a gay sex video filmed on the city’s MTR transport network.

The 45-second clip shows two naked men masturbating and having sex on an empty train carriage, according to reports.

In another video, one of the men can be seen posing for a selfie with passengers visible at the other end of the carriage.

“The Tsing Yi operations control centre has reported the case”

An MTR spokesperson told the South China Morning Post last week: “The Tsing Yi operations control centre has reported the case to police and will assist the investigation.”

MTR have no information of the source of the video or when it was filmed, nor have they received any complaints on the matter from passengers.

According to the thestandard.com.hk, police say the video may have been filmed between 2017 and 2019 but only uploaded to the internet this month. It has since been circulating on Twitter, although the original account it was posted on has now disappeared.

Police confirmed the listed case as “disorderly conduct in a public place” and “disseminating obscene and indecent articles”, reports SCMP.

The men – whose faces are disguised with emojis in the videos – still face prosecution and face a maximum of seven years in jail if convicted of “outraging public decency.”
