Donald Trump wants Elton John to perform at his inauguration

By Fabio Crispim

The Telegraph reports

that Donald Trump wants Elton John to perform at his inauguration. John’s hits have been used at Trump’s rallies and Rocket Man and Tiny Dancer are two of his favourites.

Though this might prove difficult because, in February, a publicist for Elton John spoke out and said that Elton’s music should not be used in Trump’s campaigns.

“Elton John’s music has not been requested for use in any official capacity by Donald Trump. Any use of his music should not be seen as an endorsement of Donald Trump by Elton.”

A number of singers have also attempted to distance themselves from Trump’s campaign including Adele, REM, Neil Young and the Rolling Stones.

Recently, Trump came under fire by Ted Cruz for opposing the HB2 law in North Carolina.
