Donald Trump doesn’t want CNN’s Anderson Cooper as debate moderator

By Fabio Crispim

Anderson Cooper is set to make history when he moderates the upcoming Presidential Debate.

The CNN anchor will co-host the debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump at Washington University in St. Louis on October 9 and will be the first openly gay person to do so.

But Donald Trump seems to have a problem with it all as he states that Anderson won’t treat him fairly.

Speaking to the Washington Post, Trump said:”I don’t think Anderson Cooper should be a moderator, because Anderson Cooper works for CNN and over the last couple of days, I’ve seen how Anderson Cooper behaves.”

“He’ll be very biased, very biased. I don’t think he should be a moderator. I’ll participate, but I don’t think he should be a moderator.”

Trump also took a poke at American network CNN for being the “Clinton News Network”.

Trump has also came under fire recently for appointing anti-gay Republican Rick Santorum as an adviser.

Out magazine reports that Santorum will join Trump’s Catholic Advisory Council who will consult on issues regarding abortion rights, health care, taxation and more.

Santorum claimed that same-sex marriage would “disrupt the foundation of the world”. He will be joined by Michele Bachmann who is also opposed to LGBT rights.

The first presidential debate between Trump and Clinton airs on Monday (September 26) while the Anderson Cooper hosted debate will take place at Washington University in St. Louis on October 9.
