Demi Lovato has made a video in support of gay marriage in the US. Watch it below.

The spunky popstar teamed up with the Human Rights Campaign for the video, in which she proclaims her support for same-sex marriage, arguing that “love is valid” no matter what form it comes in.

“I believe that love comes in all different shapes, sizes, and colors,” says the Neon Lights singer in the video.  “So whether you’re LGBT or straight, your love is valid, beautiful, and an incredible gift.”

“So let’s protect love and strengthen the institution of marriage by allowing loving, caring, and committed same-sex couples to legally marry,” adds Lovato.

The singer recently hit the headlines for featuring a provocative image of Russian President Vladimir Putin in her New York City Pride set – read the full story here.

Meanwhile, the music video for her new single Really Don’t Care was filmed at this year’s LA Pride – click here to watch the pro-LGBT rights promo clip.
