By Troy Nankervis

Celebrity guests including Donna Air have attended a restaurant fundraiser event held in London in aid of raising HIV awareness.

Among the guests at last night’s M Victoria Street restaurant launch was The Revenant star Will Poulter, War Horse star Jeremy Irvine alongside Donna Air, Lady Mary Charteris and Daisy de Villeneuve. They also joined the restaurant’s founder Martin Williams to funds and awareness for HIV and sexual health charity, the Terrence Higgins Trust.

They dined on a signature four-course menu prepared by Executive Chef Michael Reid, with dishes including Ike Jime King Fish Sashimi served with Ponzu & Dill, and Blackmore Wagyu Kaurabi, served with mushroom, horseradish, onion and truffle.

“I would like to thank everyone who attended last night and helped to celebrate the launch of my second restaurant, M Victoria Street,” Williams told guests at the end of the evening.

“Together, we helped to raise £20,000 for Terrence Higgins Trust. I look forward to welcoming everyone back in the near future.”

Founded in 1982, Terrence Higgins Trust was the first charity in the UK to be set up in response to the AIDS epidemic and has been at the forefront of the fight against HIV ever since.

Today it is the leading HIV and sexual health charity with centres across England, Scotland and Wales, providing sexual health checks, counselling and support groups.

Terrence Higgins Trust secures public and political support for HIV and sexual health issues, and campaigns to eradicate stigma and discrimination.
