The A-list couple have previously spoken of their desire to have children, telling the Attitude Heroes podcast last year that family was something they both felt “very strongly” about.

Tom teased that he and Dustin had been putting serious though into planning how they were going to raise a child together, and hinted that it could be sooner than people thought.

“I mean we always try, we do keep trying. But Lance doesn’t seem to get pregnant….” the former Splash! host joked.

He went on: “As a gay couple it is one of the most difficult things to have a child and there’s so many different ways you can go about it.

“It’s a long, expensive process. We’ve done research into loads of different ideas, through adoption or through surrogacy and all that kind of stuff.”

Tom and Dustin’s happy news comes less than twelve months after the pair married in May 2016 after four years of dating.

The couple tied the knot in a stunning ceremony at Devon’s Bovey Caslte attneded by friends and family, and later shared a video of the big day to help raise money for LGBT+ causes.
