Billy Eichner on Donald Trump: He’s like a cartoon villain

By Fabio Crispim

Comedian Billy Eichner is known for his Funny Or Die pop culture quiz show Billy On The Street which features stars such as Julianne Moore and Chris Pratt.

But during a Playbook Lunch panel discussion in Washington DC on Friday (April 29), Eichner spoke out on Donald Trump.

“He’s a terrible person,” he shouted. “End of story. Terrible person.”

Politico reports that Eichner praised Trump for his appearance on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice as the ringleader.

“I’m not even a big reality-show person, but that was a very well done reality show, and part of it is that he has a great persona. But it’s all persona, you know.”

He continues, “He’s like evil P.T. Barnum. He’s like a cartoon villain, which is a lot of fun when you’re not maybe running the free world.”

Eichner doesn’t want Trump to be elected president but states that he would’t mind if Trump’s wife, Melania, became First Lady.

“That I can get behind. That’s my dream. What a dynamic and compelling figure she would be in the White House. Would love to see her agenda.”
