Attitude is seeking an Event, PR & Marketing Assistant

Attitude is looking to hire a full-time Event, PR & Marketing Assistant for a seven-month contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Attitude team on a fixed contract basis to assist with day to day marketing of Attitude Media Ltd’s brands – Attitude, aTEEN and attitude.co.uk – to assist with subscription marketing and to work on Attitude’s portfolio of events, including the 2015 Attitude Awards.

This position reports to the Managing Director.

Attitude is the leading gay men’s lifestyle magazine in the UK. Established 21 years ago, Attitude is recognised as one of the leading global gay media brands.

The past 12 months at Attitude have seen a re-launched website, the launch of the world’s first gay magazine for teenagers (aTEEN), the launch of the world’s first gay wedding magazine from a leading publisher (Love & Marriage) and successful events such as the Hot 100 Summer Party and the 3rd annual Attitude Awards.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Manage the summer subscription drive for print and digital

· Implement and manage marketing campaigns for attitude, aTEEN, attitude.co.uk and attitude events

· Work with the editorial team on PR for attitude, aTEEN and attitude.co.uk

· Assist with Attitude’s event programme across the summer and for the 2015 Attitude Awards

· Support the Event Director pre, during and post each Attitude event

Required knowledge, experience and skill set

· Experience of digital marketing and advertising campaigns across social media

· 1-2 years marketing and PR experience working with established brands

· 1-2 years experience working on events

· Hard-working with a strong work ethic

· Team player

· Able to operate and succeed in an autonomous role but also able to take direction

Desirable knowledge and experience

· Working within a magazine and or online business

· Knowledge of magazine subscription marketing for print and digital

This is a fixed-term contract with salary upon application. Position based at Attitude’s offices in EC1 with some out of hours work during events.
