Anderson Cooper to moderate Presidential Debate

By Fabio Crispim

Anderson Cooper is set to make history when he moderates the upcoming Presidential Debate.

The CNN anchor will co-host the debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump at Washington University in St. Louis on October 9 and will be the first openly gay person to do so.

According to NewNowNext, Lester Holt will host Trump and Clinton’s first face-off on September 26 in New York before they head to St. Louis in October.

Speaking about the general election to Howard Stern, Anderson revealed he’s planning on not voting.

“I don’t think I’m going to vote… I don’t thunk reporters should vote. A lot of reporters don’t vote, it’s a thing.”

He added, “I’ve had the debate. There have been years where I have voted because sometimes I thought maybe I should. I’ve gone back and forth on it. I don’t want to be influenced one way or the other.”

“I believe people should vote, but my role is to ask questions.”
