A flowchart to help you make sense of Ellen Page and Ted Cruz’s debate

There are two types of people in the world: those who think Ted Cruz schooled Ellen Page on religious liberties, and those who know the US senator and presidential candidate was simply dodging the out actress’ questions about the persecution of LGBTs.
If you have no idea what we’re talking about, a dressed-down Page confronted Cruz at an Iowa state fair while he stood behind a BBQ grill with a pork chop in one hand.
Incidentally, the folks at Fusion have created a helpful flowchart, “just in case Ellen Page shows up at your next barbecue and begins asking you perfectly reasonable questions about the persecution that LGBT people face.”
We hope someone on Cruz’s team is taking down notes.
