Spa Review: The Grand Brighton Hotel

By Nick Byam

The Spa at The Grand Brighton Hotel on the famous Brighton seafront relaunched in 2013, having undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment project. The new spa and fitness centre now offers a wide range of specialist treatments and a heavenly relaxation lounge.

We were invited down to the Grand Brighton Hotel and Spa for a complimentary stay and use of the spa and all its facilities. We decided to give the signature ‘Gold Champagne Facial’ a try which uses the finest skin-loving ingredients combining pearl and caviar with champagne extract. After 60 minutes you leave feeling and looking refreshed and rejuvenated, with glowing skin that smells good enough to eat.

The spa itself has captured the essence of the hotel, with muted beiges and greens throughout its contemporary interior. Located on the basement floor, spa facilities include steam room and sauna, plus the relaxation lounge with a huge double bed (which you hope to get to before anyone else!).
Signature treatment: Gold Champagne Facial (60 Minutes), £85
