Big Brother housemate Harry Symonds refused to sleep in the same bed as his straight male co-star Sam and ended up on the floor.
In last night’s episode (14 September), the fitness coach from Croydon pulled the short straw and had to share a bed with another one of his housemates after arriving late to the bedroom.
As the house was getting ready for bed, Symonds approached Pauline to ask her if she wouldn’t mind sharing with Sam.

“If I sleep with another bloke, it’s a bit weird,” said Symonds. “If it’s a girl, cool. Game on,” he added.
Pauline, who was sharing a bed with Millie, explained she had never shared a bed with anyone before and that for it to be a guy would be “crazy”.
Harry said he’d happily sleep on the floor. Big Brother Co-star Chelsney joined in the conversation and asked: “But will your husband still be annoyed even though Sam’s not gay?”
“You wouldn’t be happy if your husband did that? – Chelsney asked Harry
Harry replied: “It’s still just a little bit…” Chelsney added: “Like, you wouldn’t be happy if your husband did that?” Harry said: “It’s just a bit” – clearly uncomfortable.
In the end, Harry slept on the floor in a bed made with a spare duvet and pillow at the end of Pauline and Millie’s bed.
Viewers were first introduced to Harry on Sunday’s launch show, where the 30-year-old introduced himself as a former police officer and a gay Christian.

As he entered the house, viewers discovered that he is the spouse of former Conservative Member of Parliament Scott Benton, who was embroiled in a parliamentary lobbying scandal, resigning in 2024.
Benton later returned to politics in 2026 after joining Restore Britain, the right-wing party founded by former Reform UK MP Rupert Lowe, who, similarly to his previous constituents, has refused to fly the Progress Pride flag on public buildings and claimed that it promotes gender identity over biological reality.
