The Spice Girls have released The Singles Collection today (6 November), a pair of limited-edition numbered box sets that bring together the group’s singles for the first time.

Each edition contains 14 discs, on either 7-inch colour vinyl or CD, and includes B-sides alongside recordings from the band’s archive that have never been heard before.

Released in 1996, the gals’ debut Spice became one of the best-selling albums of all time. Debut single ‘Wannabe’ topped the charts in 37 countries, and the Spice Girls have since sold more than 100 million records worldwide.

What does The Singles Collection look like?

Both sets arrive in a handbag-inspired box finished in white holographic gloss and matt black foil. The set includes 14 sleeves featuring the original single artwork, and the 7-inch edition presents every single on colour vinyl for the first time, paired with its original lead B-side.

Both editions include ‘Do You Think About Me’, one of the group’s earliest demos, which is released officially for the first time. The 7-inch set pairs it with a demo of ‘2 Become 1’ on its final record, while the CD edition adds an exclusive disc featuring four previously unreleased demos: ‘Do You Think About Me’, ‘2 Become 1’, ‘Mama’ and ‘Love Thing’.

Each set also includes a booklet including new messages from all five Spice Girls, running to 28 pages in the 7-inch edition and 32 on CD, along with an exclusive 30th anniversary acrylic charm. Five collectible art cards and a limited-edition numbering card complete each box.

The CD edition runs to 160 tracks, taking in complete B-sides and rare remixes as well as live recordings from Istanbul and Birmingham. Both formats include bonus discs of ‘Step to Me’ and ‘Tell Me Why’.
