Queer pop festival Mighty Hoopla reveals date for 2020

The celebration of diversity and queerdom returns to London next summer.

By Will Stroude

Mighty Hoopla has quickly established itself as one of the UK’s most joyous queer festivals over the last few years, and the good news is the annual celebration of diversity and pop will be back next summer.

The one-day festival will take place at Brockwell Park, south London on Saturday 6 June 2020, it was confirmed today (27 September), with the first tickets set to go on sale on Tuesday 1 October.

This year’s event saw thousands descend on the festival to see artists like Tove Lo, All Saints, Chaka Khan, Kate Nash, Bananarama, Liberty X and Samantha Mumba take the main stage as DJ sets and cabaret performances took place around the park.

With previous performers including queer faves like Years & Years and Will Young, we can’t wait to see what organisers have in store for the fifth Mighty Hoopla.
