‘Neighbours’ fans get an eyeful as husbands-to-be Aaron and David drop their towels

Peachy scenes.

By Will Stroude

Neighbours’ heroic team of writers gave viewers exactly what they wanted earlier this month when it was announced that Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) and David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) would become the first gay couple to marry in the soap’s 30-year history later this summer.

Little did we know, however, that said writers would soon be giving us exactly what we NEEDED by getting Aaron and David to flaunt their best assets onscreen just weeks later (it’s for the art, after all!)

The peachy scene, which was broadcast Down Under on Monday night (May 28), saw the husbands-to-be visit the local Erinsboro spa, only to lose their towels to help screen Amy Robinson (Zoe Cramond) from passers-by as she changed.

What do you mean, that’s a flimsy scenario? Look, we know you’re not here for the words at this point, so check out the highlights below:

Sorry Scott and Charlene, but you’ve officially been bumped down the ranking of our favourite Neighbours moments.

If the sight of Aaron and David’s cakes in the open has quite quenched your post-Bank Holiday thirst, you can check out the highlights of actor Matt Wilson’s former career as an underwear model here (trust us, it’s worth it).

Neighbours continues weekdays on Channel 5 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm.
