Yungblud hit all the right notes as he kicked off the celebrations for Attitude Pride at Home.

Saturday night (20 June) saw the British pop-punk star headline the nine-day digital Pride festival’s Opening Party, in partnership with Klarna.

And it really was, ahem, strum-thing special.

Armed only with his guitar, Yungblud, aka Dominic Harrison, performed an exclusive acoustic set from the comfort of his home.

Nice yard by the way, Dom.

“I hope everyone is feeling the love and being celebrated for exactly who they are,” he begins, before launching into his latest track, ‘Weird.’

Waving his proverbial rainbow flag, the 22-year-old singer and LGBTQ ally adds that Pride month takes, well, pride of place in his diary.

“[It] is one of my favourite months because it celebrates love and I bloody love love – a lot!” he exclaims.

Yungblud – who opened up about his sexual fluidity while appearing on the cover of the September issue of Attitude last year – completed his intimate gig with renditions of ‘Parents’ and ‘Waiting on the Weekend.’

“Grab someone you love,” he concludes. “Give that person a great big kiss right now.”

If you can’t find someone, puckering up to a pillow will just have to do.

Yungblud was joined on the line-up by queer electro artist Bright Light Bright Light and opera sensation Katherine Jenkins, who performed a cover of Donna Summer’s iconic anthem ‘I Feel Love.’
