Brighton Pride: Everything you need to know about this Friday’s digital Warm-up Party

Enjoy Friday's expected heatwave as Jean Paul Gaultier presents uplifting anthems from DJ Fat Tony from 8-10pm.

Brighton Pride may not be taking place in Preston Park this year, but the UK’s biggest Pride festival will still be taking place virtually this weekend with three days of digital celebrations and archive performances from some of the world’s biggest LGBTQ stars.

From a purpose-built studio in Brighton, Stepthen Baily and Zoe Lyons will host back-to-back nights of virtual programming from Friday 31 July – Sunday 2 August, featuring never-before broadcast sets from former main stage performers including Nile Rodgers & Chic, Years & Years, Jess Glynne, Billy Porter , MNEK, Todrick Hall and Fatboy Slim.

It all kicks off this Friday (31 July) with the Brighton Pride Warm-up Party, which you can watch live on the Attitude YouTube channel from 8pm-10pm.

All you need to do is tune in, crank up the volume, and start your Pride weekend right as Jean Paul Gaultier presents an exclusive set from DJ Fat Tony, who’ll be bringing you two unbroken hours of uplifting anthems.

As anyone who caught the legendary DJ’s set at the Attitude Pride at Home Closing Party will know, Fat Tony knows how to bring the club to you, whether you’re at home or enjoying Friday’s expected 30-degree heatwave in the park with friends (socially-distanced, of course) – all you need to do is tune in on your smartphone.
