The singer, Olly Alexander, says he won’t be wearing Savage X Fenty anymore after rumours that Johnny Depp will appear in a show for the brand.

On Thursday (3 November) it was reported by TMZ that Depp was said to have a “star” role in the Savage X Fenty Vol 4 showcase.

According to TMZ, Rihanna and her team invited Depp to be a part of the show. Both Rihanna and Depp are said to be excited to make it happen.

After the rumours appeared online Olly tweeted a sad face. One fan said, “But, “Savage X Fenty” is you baby……. you wear it so well”.

The Years and Years singer replied: “thank you but after this news i won’t be wearing it anymore”

Olly has previously modeled for Rihanna’s brand at the start of the year, showing off a harness and underwear ahead of Valentine’s Day.

Savage X Fenty Vol. 4 will include performances from Anitta and Burna Boy. Irina Shayk, Cara Delevingne, and Precious Lee are also set to feature.

Resentment of Depp, still a controversial figure, being afforded this opportunity follows the high-profile court case he was involved in alongside his former partner, Amber Heard.

Depp claimed he had been defamed by the Aquaman actress in a 2018 op-ed for the Washington Post where she discussed being a survivor of domestic abuse.

After a jury sided with Depp in June he was awarded $15 million in compensatory and punitive damages. Heard was also awarded $2 million as it was decided one of Depp’s lawyers had defamed her.

Heard is set to appeal the verdict.

Attitude has approached representatives for Olly Alexander, Savage X Fenty, and Prime Video for comment.

Savage X Fenty Vol. 4 will be available on Prime Video on 9 November. Check out the trailer below.
