Good Morning Britain’s Richard Arnold marries partner Stuart after 23 years
The presenter revealed he married his long-term partner Stuart on Good Morning Britain after sharing a post to Instagram

Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Arnold has announced that he and his long-term partner Stuart have married after 23 years together.
Richard shared photos from their wedding on Instagram over the weekend, before clarifying on today’s (21 September) Good Morning Britain that he and Stuart had tied the knot in a private ceremony at Hackney Town Hall on Friday (18 September).
Posting a picture of himself in a kilt with his husband, who wore a blue suit, Richard also shared a photo of his black Cockapoo, Clementine, wearing a ribbon around her neck reading, “I do too”.

Richard captioned the post, “The splice of life,” with a ring emoji and was quickly flooded with congratulations from celebrity friends and loved ones in the comments.
Co-host Susanna Reid, Strictly Come Dancing star La Voix, comedian John Bishop, as well as presenters Amanda Holden and Lorraine Kelly, were just some of those to send their best wishes.
The ring emoji initially led some followers to believe Richard was announcing an engagement, but the presenter cleared up the confusion live on Good Morning Britain.
Richard reveals he got married
He told presenters Kate Garraway and Ed Balls: “I got spliced,” before confirming that Stuart was now his husband.
A photo of the couple appeared on screen, with Arnold adding: “That’s myself and my other half Stuart, and now my husband.” They were joined on the day by some of their closest friends from the ’80s and wore clothes from their own wardrobes. “That’s how bad I am at organising these things,” Richard said.
The confusion arose due to Richard and Stuart having kept their relationship private over the years.
