Woman fights back at homophobic neighbour with LGBT Christmas lights

An ex-Mormon woman is standing up against her homophobic neighbour with the help of some colourful Christmas lights.
Posting on Reddit, Mrs Rosey Crotch explained how she had become the subject of discussion at the local church after she and her husband decided to leave church altogether.
After learning that the couple had left the Church, their neighbour paid her a visit. Mrs Rosey Crotch writes:
“She came bouncing over and when my husband told her we no longer attended [the Church], she didn’t get the message.”
“Anyway, thinking that we were allies, she went on to tell us how horrified she was when her son got turned down for prom because the girl was already planning on going with her girlfriend.”
The neighbour then expressed her dislike about how the local school recently held an assembly to discuss transgender issues.
“That, coupled with the school’s justification for letting lesbians attend the prom together and doing an assembly that taught kids the facts about being transgender were just too much for her,” Mrs Rosey Crotch writes.
“She said that she had to move away because she was so sick of the gays and transgenders and everyone making their ‘lifestyle’ okay.”
So, knowing that she wouldn’t be able to persuade her neighbour, Mrs Rosey Crotch decided to take a passive-aggressive route and, 10,000 lights later, turned her front garden into an LGBT Christmas fest.
“I know that I’m not going to change her opinion, no matter what I say. Having moved her kids to escape ‘the gays’, I’m sure me telling her my opinion on it wouldn’t make a difference.”
We hope they stay up all year round!
