Jude Law embraces his inner Daniel Craig in the new trailer for The New Pope.
The 46-year-old actor returns as Pope Pius XIII in the second season of Paolo Sorrentino’s hit HBO show and we cannot get enough.
In the new teaser trailer, Law emerges from the sea – much like Craig did in Casino Royale – wearing nothing but a tight, bright white Speedo while being surrounded by beachwear-clad women who cannot take their eyes off him and we get it.
Written by Sorrenttino with Umberto Contarello and Stefano Bises, the nine-episode original series features Law and John Malkovich with Sharon Stone and Marilyn Manson guest starring.
There is currently no release date as of yet, but if the teaser trailer is anything to go off – and the last season where Law showed off his assets – we will be hooked episode-by-episode.
