The third season of the hit Daddyhunt series is out now.

Continuing the saga of two men who connect on the social media site Daddyhunt, the series picks up where season two left off with the romance between two men (BJ Gruber and Jim Newman).

Having grown closer and more intimate, their relationship will face some significant communication challenges in the new series.

The award-winning serial tackled the issue of PrEP in season two and the third series will reportedly build on that with the emphasis on STI testing and telling sexual partners that they may need to get tested.

The series is a partnership between Daddyhunt and Building Healthy Online Communities (BHOC) – a public-private partnership between dating sites and apps as well as HIV and STI prevention organisations.

Dan Wohlfeiler, director of BHOC, said: “We were thrilled to work with Daddyhunt again on season three of the series.

“This partnership enabled us to go viral with a message about how our community confronts – and beats – viruses.”

Casey Crawford, at Daddyhunt, added: “We continue to be blown away by the reaction to the series.

“It proves there remains a deep desire for stories about gay men that are true to real life.

“And we were excited to work with BHOC to weave in topics that remain relevant to gay men today including the importance of routine testing, partner notification and fighting stigma online.”

Daddyhunt: The Serial – Season 3 debuts today and can be viewed on Facebook and on the YouTube channel.
