The first teaser trailer for the sixth and final season of the award-winning Schitt’s Creek has been released and we cannot wait.

Starring Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Daniel Levy and Annie Murphy as Johnny, Moira, David and Alexis Rose, the multi-award winning show has taken us through all the emotions and now it’s set to come to an end.

As the six season was announced, it was also confirmed that there would be no more after the sixth season – which will consist of 14 episodes – cue tears now!

Last month, the official Twitter account has revealed the new and final season will start airing on CBC from January 7.

And now, a teaser trailer has been dropped and Moira is on top form as always!

In the penultimate episode of the fifth season, we saw David – played by the show’s co-creator Daniel Levy – was asked the big proposal question by his partner Patrick (Noah Reid) and we cannot wait to see the two tie the knot in the final season.

The series has won various accolades, including an ACTRA Award and 18 Canadian Screen Awards.

It is the first Canadian comedy series to be nominated for a Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Comedy Series and first to win a MTV Movie & TV Award, winning Best Comedic Performance for Daniel Levy in 2019.
