Little Mix’s new video for ‘Only You’ features a tragic, mythical lesbian romance.
The X Factor winners teamed up with the electronic music DJ trio Cheat Codes for the new summer anthem – which was released three weeks ago.
Now the official video for the song has been released and features US actress Peyton List at a party enjoying her time with another girl and the two share passionate kisses throughout.
However, events take an unexpected turn when the Peyton falls into the pool and her true identity is revealed.
It’s up to the red-haired beauty to rescue her and the video has a sad and bittersweet ending,
Cheat Codes – who is comprised of Trevor Dahl, Matthew Russell and Kevin Ford – recently said: “When we did ‘Only You’ we wanted to tell a story that a lot of people are familiar with, like picturing love as your favourite movie and this is the final scene.
“You don’t want it to veer end but unfortunately there’s no way to rewind the footage, the memories of that love are all we hold.
“’Only You’ is about that special someone that no matter where you are in the universe your stars still align.”
