Troye Sivan talks all things LGBT in OUT behind the scenes video
By Ben Kelly

Troye Sivan chats about coming out, and inspiring young LGBT people in the behind the scenes video from his first shoot for OUT.
“I met my first openly gay person when I was about 15,” he explains. “For me, turning to the internet and realising there were other people who feel like this, that was so comforting to me. The idea that someone can live in a country that isn’t as accepting as the US or Australia, and still access all of that, is pretty remarkable, and life changing for that person.”
Asked what message he wants to give to young LGBT people, he says, “I’d like to send a message that, unapologetically, you can be yourself, and you can still do everything you ever wanted to do, while being yourself.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Sivan pays tribute to his “beautiful boyfriend” and talks about his faith and “singing about boys” – click here to find out more.
