Troye Sivan drops mesmerising new track ‘Animal’ from upcoming album ‘Bloom’ – LISTEN
The Aussie pop star has unveiled a fifth track from his sophomore LP ahead of its release later this month.

With the release of second studio album Bloom now just three weeks away, Troye Sivan has shared another track from his eagerly-anticipated new record.
If the Arianda Grande-featuring ‘Dance To This’ was the sexy midnight jam that signalled two people coming together, the newly-released ‘Animal’ is the reflective sound of the early hours that follow.
After the electric euphoria of ‘My My My!’, bitter-sweet nostalgia of ‘The Good Side’ and playful sexual thrills of ‘Bloom’, this latest cut from Bloom shows off yet another side to the 22-year-old Aussie star.
A slow-burning love song which envelops the listener over the course of four and half minutes, it offers perhaps Troye’s most candid lyrical insights yet into his relationship with model Jacob Bixenman as he declares: “I want you all to myself / Don’t leave none for nobody else / I am an animal with you.”
The former Attitude cover star in mesmerising form as he yearns over rumbling syths: “I told you something safe / Something I’ve never said before / And I, I, I can’t keep my hands off you / While you lie in the wake / Covered all in the night before / I’m high, high, high, no one’s got me quite like you.”
The track will serve as the album closer on Bloom, and on the basis of what we’ve heard so far, Troye’s grown-up second offering going to give us quite the ride getting there. Roll on August 31.
