The first teaser trailer has been released for Madonna’s upcoming Madame X concert documentary for Paramount+.

The ‘Crave’ singer hit the road to promote her last album in 2019, before the tour was cut short in March 2020 due to coronavirus restrictions.

Paramount+, which is unavailable in the UK, shared a clip of the project on its Twitter account last night, alongside its release date: 8 October 2021.

“There’s only one Madonna”

Alongside the video, the streamer said in a tweet: “There’s only one Madonna. Are you ready for Madame X? Stream the new concert documentary on October 8, only on #ParamountPlus.”

Madonna first shared news of the film last year, saying: “I want to convey the incredible journey that life has taken me on as an artist, a musician, a dancer – a human being, trying to make her way in this world.”

In a statement, the 62-year-old added: “The focus of this film will always be music. Music has kept me going and art has kept me alive. There are so many untold and inspiring stories and who better to tell it than me.

“It’s essential to share the roller coaster ride of my life with my voice and vision.”
