Tom Daley’s ITV2 backpacking show begins tonight

Tom Daley heads to Thailand in the first episode of his new backpacking show, which airs on ITV2 tonight (April 10).
Tom Daley Goes Global follows Tom as he heads out on a travelling adventure with his best friend Sophie, visiting countries like Japan, Australia and Morocco.
In tonight’s first episode, the pair arrive in Thailand, as Tom prepares to take on a kind of diving he definitely isn’t used to – skydiving.
However, as Tom prepares to jump from 10,000 feet, Thailand’s monsoon season threatens to put a stop to his plans.
The Olympic bronze medalist will aim to fulfill some of his lifelong dreams on the trip, including flying a jet-plane and bungee jumping. The Saturdays singer Mollie King will also join Tom during the series.
Ahead of his journey, Tom said: “I can’t wait to get away on my trip. Diving and training are my first love, but I am looking forward to a break from the norm and discovering more about places I’ve never had the chance to explore before. And to do it all with my best friend will be amazing.”
Tom Daley Goes Global airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
