The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes debuts new video

By Will Stroude

The Wanted might be dead and buried (we’re still grieving the loss of Max George from VH1 screens guys), but former baby of the band Nathan Sykes is venturing out alone with debut solo single Kiss Me Quick.

The track – co-written by Nathan and London-based LDN Noise – is the first single taken from Nathan’s forthcoming debut solo album, and has just been given a shiny new video courtesy of director Emil Nava. Check it out below…

The 22-year-old said of the jazzy soul-pop number:  “I had a very clear vision for the video and worked with Emil to develop the idea. It was important to me to highlight the musicality of the track because Kiss Me Quick has such a big, brass sound & I wanted that to be a focus.

“I’m really happy with the result!”

Kiss Me Quick is out in the UK on June 28, and will be available in the US on iTunes June 9.

So are you ‘glad he came’? Will Kiss Me Quick be certified ‘gold forever’? Or does it mark an new ‘all time low’? (Oh god, we’re done now we swear, it’s been a slow day). Let us know in the comments…
