The release date of the final season of ‘Schitt’s Creek’ has been revealed
We don't think we are ready for it to end.

The end of Schitt’s Creek is happening far too soon for our liking and now the release date of the final season has been revealed.
Starring Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Daniel Levy and Annie Murphy as Johnny, Moira, David and Alexis Rose, the multi-award winning show has taken us through all the emotions and now it’s set to come to an end.
As the six season was announced, it was also confirmed that there would be no more after the sixth season – which will consist of 14 episodes – cue tears now!
And now, the official Twitter account has revealed the new and final season will start airing on CBC from January 7.
Taking to social media, it wrote: 2The final season. January 7th on @CBC.”

In the penultimate episode of the fifth season, we saw David – played by the show’s co-creator Daniel Levy – was asked the big proposal question by his partner Patrick (Noah Reid) and we cannot wait to see the two tie the knot in the final season.
The series has won various accolades, including an ACTRA Award and 18 Canadian Screen Awards.
It is the first Canadian comedy series to be nominated for a Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Comedy Series and first to win a MTV Movie & TV Award, winning Best Comedic Performance for Daniel Levy in 2019.
It is also the first program from Pop TV to receive Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series.
The show has been praised for its representation of the LGBTQ community with David coming out as pansexual and aired a powerful episode where Dan’s on-screen boyfriend comes out to his parents.
