Taylor Swift and Celine Dion fans are more likely to oppose same-sex marriage, a new survey has found.

A new study by ticket reseller TickPick has found that fans of Taylor Swift, Celine Dion and Elvis are more likely to oppose gay marriage.

The survey, which surveyed over 1,000 adults on politics, social issues and music, found that fans of certain music genres were more likely to oppose same-sex marriage.

Over 20% of country music fans would oppose gay marriage, compared to 16.5% of jazz fans and 16.1% of classical music fans.

TickPick’s survey also found that, despite their strong gay fanbases, 19.7% of Taylor Swift’s fans oppose same-sex marriage along with 22.3% of Celine Dion fans. In addition, 19.5% of Elvis fans and 19.9% of Bee Gees fans oppose marriage equality.

Meanwhile, the study found that fans of Lil Wayne, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, David Bowie and Tupac Shakur were more open to same-sex marriage.

Fans of alternative music, classic rock and the blues were also more likely to support same-sex marriage.
