Take That’s Howard Donald has said he could never date his former bandmate Jason Orange if he were gay.

Donald made the comment during Take That’s appearance on Chris Evans’ Radio 2 Breakfast Show earlier today (October 10), as the group discussed Orange’s surprise decision to leave the band last month (September).

“If I was gay I could never be his boyfriend,” Donald said. “He’s a bit annoying. He’s a bit too deep for me.”

Donald went on to explain that Orange’s departure from Take That wasn’t a sure thing until the last minute, saying: “It is very sad and we are getting used to it. We left it until the very last second for him to be around.”

Meanwhile, Take That announced a new album today and debuted its lead single- listen to ‘These Days’ here.
