Take That have announced that they will embark on an extensive arena tour next year.

The much-loved pop group will support their forthcoming album III, due out on December 1, with 24 dates across the UK and Ireland next April, May and June.

Both the new album and tour will be Take That’s first as a trio, after Jason Orange announced last month (October) that he had quit the group. Robbie Williams has also opted not to join the remaining band members – Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen – for the new album and tour.

“We’ve always been very proud of our live shows and are very excited to be touring again next year. Playing live is something we love the most about what we do and we’re looking forward to putting on the most amazing show we can,” said Take That in a press release.

“It will have been four years since our last tour so we’re really keen to get back out on the road to play some of our biggest songs from the last 20 years alongside our new ones. We hope to see you there,” they added.

Former X Factor star Ella Henderson, who recently made Number One with her debut album Chapter One, will join Take That as a support act for the majority of the tour.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Thursday (November 13) at 9am. Check out a full list of dates below:

Since reuniting in 2005, Take That have released three hugely successful albums, 2006’s Beautiful World, 2008’s The Circus and 2010’s Progress, each of which made Number One on the UK’s Official Albums Chart. For the third album, they were rejoined by the band’s fifth original member, Robbie Williams, for the first time since 1995.

The group unveiled their new single These Days last month (October) – listen to it here.
