Steps release video for banger of a new single ‘What the Future Holds’ – WATCH

Pop's most uplifting fivesome are back with a Sia-penned club belter.

Steps have released the video for their absolute belter of a single ‘What the Future Holds’ – and while the answer to that based on 2020’s form so far is ‘probably nothing good’, we’re certainly enjoying the present thanks to pop’s most uplifting fivesome.

The Sia-penned title track from the group’s upcoming sixth studio album, out 27 November, comes alongside the announcement of a new UK-wide tour which kicks off in November 2021.

The new record comes two and a half years after ’90s pop darlings Claire Richards, Faye Tozer, Ian ‘H’ Watkins, Lee Latchford-Evans and Lisa Scott-Lee defy the critics to sale to the top two on the UK album chart with comeback album Tears on a Dancefloor.

On the strength of ‘What the Future Holds’, it seems Steps aren’t done defying the naysayers just yet.
