“I got in touch with [Colton] and was like, ‘Hey, man, this happened [and] I didn’t know what to say. I simply deflected and we moved on.’ He emailed me back and said, ‘You know, I really appreciate that and I’ve recently made some decisions over the past few months and I’m excited about what’s in the future.”

The 35-year-old, who stars as the Green Arrow in The CW superhero drama, praised Haynes’ decision to come out publicly after battling with anxiety and depression, saying: “I’m so happy for Colton. As long as he is living his best life and he is at his most happy, because that is stuff that I’ve seen him struggle with.”

Meanwhile Haynes, who recently shared a rather cheeky selfie for ‘National Send a Nude Day’, recently hit out at “liars and manipulators” in Hollywood – click here to find out more.
