Spice Girls plotting four-piece reunion tour?
By Nick Bond
The Spice Girls are plotting a four-piece reunion tour to coincide with the 20th anniversary of debut single Wannabe, it has been reported today.
According to a report in today’s edition of The Sun, four of the girls – Melanie B, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Melanie C – will tour the world in 2016, without the involvement of Victoria ‘The Voice’ Beckham, who apparently insists she’s too busy (Vicky: NO-ONE’s too busy to be a Spice Girl).

The Sun reports that the four members of the world’s best-selling girl group made the decision at a secret meeting in London last month, and they will soon begin negotiations with tour promoters and choose their new management team.
Spice Girls reunion rumours pop up on the regular – usually stoked by Melanie B, always vocal about her desire to reunite – but 2016 would be the perfect time for a look back at the band’s world-conquering days, as it’s the 20th anniversary of their first hit, which ushered in an era of Girl Power and changed all of our live forever (fact).
The Sun quotes an unnamed ‘insider’ (eye roll) as saying: “There is a huge demand for the Spice Girls to get back together, especially with the nostalgia around the two-decade anniversary of their first release next summer.
“Mel B flew into London last month to secretly agree the plan with the other three girls. They should each make more than ten million pounds from this.”
This all seems to have been news to the girls themselves, who were in a playful mood on Twitter this morning – although it’s important to remember Melanie C was denying all plans of a Spice Girls reunion up to a few months before the girls announced their last big reunion tour back in 2007:
