Sneak Preview: ‘Girls’ star Allison Williams as drag Peter Pan

actress Allison Williams has been transformed into Peter Pan in the first promotional image for upcoming musical Peter Pan Live.
US network NBC are producing a special performance of the children’s tale, which will be screened live to the nation on Thursday, December 4.
Williams is seen in the character’s famous green costume, wearing a short wig and brown leather boots in the shot.
Speaking about securing the part of Peter Pan, Williams said that it was “an absolute dream come true”, as she has always wanted to play the part. Her casting follows a tradition of Peter Pan being played by women in drag.
Williams is best known for playing Marnie Michaels in Lena Dunham’s comedy Girls.
