Sinead O’Connor shocks fans with Facebook post: ‘You’d be getting a lie’

Irish singer-songwriter Sinead O’Connor has taken to social media to announce that she will never again perform her signature song, Nothing Compares 2 U.

The Prince-penned ballad was a worldwide number one for O’Connor in 1990, but now, 25 years later, the singer says doesn’t “emotionally identify” with it.
