Ryan Murphy has shared an image of the legendary Jessica Lange reprising her role as Constance Langdon in American Horror Story: Apocalypse.

The eighth season of Murphy’s anthology show will be the highly anticipated Murder House and Coven crossover season and is already in full swing in the USA.

The series will see several actors reprising old roles, including Lange who will be returning to the show after leaving at the end of Freak Show

Sarah Paulson announced the news at the TCA press tour (August 3), revealing that Lange will be appearing in the season’s sixth episode as her Murder House character Constance Langdon and we cannot wait.

Now to celebrate hitting 300k followers on Instagram, Murphy shared an image of Lange and Paulson – who is directing the episode – and wrote: “To celebrate 300 k followers, here’s a first look at the return of Queen Constance…the one and only Lady Lange…being directed by that dynamo of wit and talent Sarah Paulson. Love them both!”

We know that the eighth season will follow Michael Langdon aka the Anti-Christ – and the grandchild of Constance – destroying the earth but it appears that the Coven witches are there to stop him.
